Le secteur rizicole b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019un coup de pouce de la Chambre de commerce et d\u2019industrie du Togo (CCI-Togo) \u00e0 travers le Projet d\u2019appui \u00e0 la valorisation du riz togolais (PAVRIT).<br>L\u2019initiative a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e le 10 octobre 2024 \u00e0 Kpalim\u00e9, en marge du lancement des activit\u00e9s du Mois du consommer local.<br>Le projet destin\u00e9 \u00e0 faire la promotion de la consommation de riz local, s\u2019articule autour de deux principaux axes : un soutien technique et financier aux producteurs de riz et le renforcement du r\u00e9seau des acteurs de la cha\u00eene de valeur rizicole. De fa\u00e7on concr\u00e8te, l\u2019accent sera mis sur la sensibilisation des acteurs de la fili\u00e8re ainsi que sur des initiatives de plaidoyer visant \u00e0 limiter les importations de riz par des mesures r\u00e9glementaires.<br>\u201cLe PAVRIT ne se limite pas \u00e0 un simple soutien \u00e0 la consommation locale. Il vise \u00e9galement \u00e0 transformer en profondeur les pratiques industrielles, \u00e0 travers des campagnes de sensibilisation et l&rsquo;introduction de technologies plus efficaces en vue de disposer d&rsquo;un riz comp\u00e9titif sur le march\u00e9\u201d, a indiqu\u00e9 le Pr\u00e9sident de la CCI-Togo, Jos\u00e9 Kwassi Symenouh.<br>La mise en \u0153uvre de ce projet devrait permettre de stimuler la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 du riz togolais sur le march\u00e9 national et international, tout en am\u00e9liorant les conditions de vie des producteurs locaux. D&rsquo;ailleurs, la CCI-Togo pr\u00e9voit la signature d&rsquo;un m\u00e9morandum d&rsquo;entente avec le Conseil interprofessionnel de la fili\u00e8re riz.<br>L\u2019ambition du gouvernement est de couvrir la demande nationale et devenir un importateur net du riz togolais \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2030.<br>Cette d\u00e9marche devrait \u00e9galement contribuer \u00e0 l&rsquo;objectif du gouvernement togolais d&rsquo;atteindre une production de 115 087 tonnes de riz d&rsquo;ici 2030, afin de satisfaire les besoins nationaux en la mati\u00e8re. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
